Privacy
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to make us stop.

What we collect
- Account details: your email address, username, display name, and password — stored only as a hash we cannot reverse.
- Profile details you choose to add: photo, bio, county and city, your measurements, and your horses.
- Listings and their photos, which are public by design.
- Activity needed to run the service: saved listings, and offers you send or receive.
- Basic technical data from your browser, used to keep you signed in and to keep the service standing up.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not run advertising trackers or share your activity with ad networks.
- We do not store card numbers, because Cavelle does not process payments.
- We do not show your email address to other users.
What other people can see
Your username, display name, photo, bio, county and your active listings are public. That is what makes a marketplace work — nobody buys a saddle from a blank profile.
Your saved listings are private to you. Nobody, including the seller, can see who saved what. An offer is visible only to the two people involved in it.
Where your data lives
Cavelle runs on Supabase, which hosts the database, authentication and file storage inside the European Union. Access to production data is limited to the people who need it to operate the service.
We keep your data for as long as your account exists. Delete your account and your profile, listings, saved items and offers go with it.
Your rights under the GDPR
You can exercise any of these by emailing us. We answer within 30 days.
- Ask for a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Correct anything that is wrong — most of it you can edit yourself in Settings.
- Delete your account and everything attached to it.
- Object to or restrict how we process your data.
- Complain to ANSPDCP, the Romanian data protection authority.
