Terms and conditions
The rules for using Cavelle, in the plainest language we can manage.

What Cavelle is
Cavelle is a marketplace: a place where people who own equestrian equipment can offer it to people who want it. Cavelle is not a party to any sale. We do not own the items, we do not inspect them, we do not take payment for them, and we do not deliver them.
By creating an account you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the service.
Your account
- You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent or guardian.
- One person, one account. The details on it must be accurate.
- You are responsible for your password and for everything done through your account.
- You can delete your account at any time from Settings.
What you may not list
Some things are not allowed on Cavelle, whether or not they are legal to own:
- Live animals, including horses.
- Medicines, supplements, and anything requiring a veterinary prescription.
- Equipment that is illegal in Romania, or banned by the relevant discipline's federation.
- Counterfeit goods, or items you do not own and have the right to sell.
- Safety equipment you know to be damaged, expired, or previously involved in a fall — a helmet or body protector that has taken an impact must be destroyed, not resold.
- Anything stolen, or anything you cannot describe accurately.
Sales between users
An accepted offer is an agreement between a buyer and a seller, not with Cavelle. The two of you agree the price, the payment method and the handover.
Sellers must describe items accurately, including every fault. Buyers must pay what they agreed. Where the seller is acting as a business rather than privately, the buyer's statutory consumer rights apply and nothing in these terms removes them.
Cavelle is not liable for the condition of an item, for a sale that falls through, or for anything that happens when you meet. We can suspend accounts and remove listings, but we cannot recover your money.
Content you post
- You keep ownership of your photos and text.
- You grant Cavelle a licence to display them on the platform for as long as your listing exists.
- You confirm you have the right to publish them, and that they show the actual item.
- We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
Ending your access
You may stop using Cavelle whenever you like. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, misleads other users, or puts them at risk — and where it is reasonable to do so, we will say why.
These terms are governed by Romanian law.
